With the potential to draw on in excess of 30 years of experience in the paints, coatings and allied industries we feel that we are able to offer a comprehensive range of coatings consultancy.

We have extensive experience of the heavy duty, marine, industrial, architectural and decorative (retail and trade) markets. Furthermore, this experience includes nearly all points in the coatings supply chain from R&D, raw materials supply, sales, marketing and technical services.

Recent projects have included:

• Advice on point of sale, pack copy and literature
• Preparation of a portfolio of specifications for a specialist decorative coatings manufacturer
• A market study for the introduction of new flame-retardant raw materials
• Market research and bespoke articles on the environmental aspects of decorative coatings
• Initiatives to highlight the fire hazards of built up layers of non flame retardant coatings

Our particular area of speciality (and hence the company name) is Fire Protective Coatings:

• Fire resistant (intumescent) coatings for the protection of structural steel.
• Flame retardant coatings used primarilly for the protection of wall and ceiling surfaces in communal areas.
