Haringey landlords Jailed For Breaches of Fire Safety Order

Two haringey landlords have recieved sentences of six months imprisonment and fined £5,000 costs each for breaching fire safety regulations. The breaches included inadequate fire detection euipment,lack of proper fire doors to bedrooms and communal kitchen,no emergency lighting in the stairwell,lack of fire fighting equipment and no fire risk assessment available for inspection.
